Founding member of Temple Sinai and US Army veteran, Phillip Sarason Wolf, passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 90. A service was held on June 16 at Temple Sinai, with interment at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Dr. Wolf practiced at Rose Hospital for 30 years before joining the CU Hospital system to serve as chief of cardiology for 25 years. He retired at 79 as a Professor Emeritus.
“His humility, humanity and curiosity was brought into every medical student he taught, patient he treated and person he met,” his family said.
“An avid reader and student of history and the world, his great intellect was complemented by his unwavering empathy in his bedside manner, and quite a bit of stoicism.”
